P&P Family BBQ - April 4

We announced this in class on Thursday, and we've got some movement.  I spoke with the person who does facilities reservations on campus, and since they met to review and approve on April 1, we could use campus space on such short notice.  Even better, they would provide tables and two bbqs!

We are thinking about holding it next to the garden, so we have some grass for picnicking and playing, and we can show off our work so far.  If not there, then between the cafeteria and the bookstore, where there are already tables.

First off - what time would be the best time for you and your family  as a start time?  Complete this poll to share your preference:  http://doodle.com/9nbtiarcv9xs3p3g

Second - we need to start planning!

An idea I had was if anyone works at a restaurant, could you ask if they would be willing to donate food to the event?  We'd have a sign recognizing them, and could maybe return the favor by having class parties at their restaurant . . .

Anyone want to volunteer to coordinate fun activities?  coordinating the food?  logistics such as set-up and clean-up?
